As for using it, it seems to me a racket suited to newcomers who are just starting out and need to get familiar with the sport and the equipment it takes. After playing with it for over 45 minutes I asked a coach at the club for his opinion, and he indeed classed it as a simple starter racket (so that already confirms that the price it sells for is a bit excessive for what the product delivers in quality terms). Technically the weight between handle and head is unbalanced, so it gets tiring to use for long periods at a high tempo, and the crisp shot off the face sometimes comes out badly; so it is fine for starting out, but as soon as you think about raising the bar it no longer works.

It is delivered inside an Amazon box, in its black imitation leather cover with the RYZE lettering in white. The racket is very light, perforated, and the handle is wrapped in soft tacky rubber that gives an excellent hold and exceptional control. I came to padel after playing tamburello for years, and I have to say that having a handle gave me a few problems at first... like when I first picked up a tennis racket. The difference with tamburello, the beach game, is exactly that: the tamburello has no handle at all, you grip the rim directly. This racket is featherlight, easy to control and very precise in its shots. I can only give it 5 stars for the excellent quality of the materials used and for the weight balance it has been built with. A genuinely excellent product that did not traumatise me in switching to a different kind of game after years of tamburello on sand courts. I have played padel at club level for a couple of years; beyond the fun of it, I find it a good way to stay in shape. I immediately found a good feel with this RYZE model, because its low balance suits my playing style, which is geared towards control rather than power. The bad thing is that it has no texture to put more spin on the ball, but you can patch that by sticking strips of skateboard grip tape on it like I did, plus extra overgrips for a better hold. But most likely, if you play a lot it will not be right for you and you will need a more professional one

I'm a total beginner so this racket fits the bill for the learning stages. I don't have any experience to compare it to, but my friends who play say its its a solid racket. (it's just me who isn't very good yet!!) Handy bag, nice feeling grip altho white grips never look good for very long.......

This padel racquet is easy to use and lightweight. I think a professional would require a better quality racquet but for casual play, this one works out great. It has good grip but is still easy to flip in your hand. It comes with a casting bag which is nice to keep it protected when not in use.

I have played padel once, and had the instructor evaluate this paddle. He thought that the price point is high for the value, and that it is at best a beginner paddle. When I played with it, I noticed that without a gritty surface or bumps there was very little ball control for spin. It is nice looking and felt very light compared to the loaner paddles at the courts, but if I keep playing, I don't think it will be with this equipment.
